Hocking County, Ohio. As of the
2000 census, the city had a
total population of 6,704. It is
the county seat of Hocking
County. Logan is located in
southeast Ohio, on the Hocking
River southeast of Columbus.
As
of the census of 2000, there are
6,704 people, 2,790 households,
and 1,768 families residing in
the city. The population density
is 840.4/km2 (2,175.2/mi2).
There are 2,948 housing units at
an average density of 369.6/km2
(956.5/mi2). The racial makeup
of the city is 97.87% White,
0.57% African American, 0.39%
Native American, 0.06% Asian,
0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.01%
